Dr. Shameika Moment earned her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Phoenix-School of Advanced Studies, as well as an MBA. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Harris-Stowe State University in St. Louis, MO. Dr. Moment has experience across the educational landscape in elementary, secondary, and higher education settings. Her passion is for helping students see opportunities through the pursuit and achievement of higher education; while engaging and empowering parents to support their children through the process. She is committed to assisting parents bridge the gaps between school, home, and community as they navigate their children’s education.
LaKendra Grimes earned a Master of Social Work from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Social Work from University of Missouri-St. Louis. She has over 15 years’ experience in social services working with senior and disabled men, women, and children. LaKendra’s work environments range from the hospital emergency room to skilled nursing facilities where she provides support for families during times of transition, challenge, and celebration. Her experience includes case management, ombudsman, patient advocate, community liaison, director of social services, and care coordinator.
